Water Aid Survival Boxes (2010-01-25)

The Rotary Club of Chelwood Bridge is sending boxes with survival aids from sewing gear to cooking utensils and once unpacked can be used as a water purification system to get immediate access to pure water. donation: haiti@labellerotary.com [Guardian News]

Pure Water For The World in Haiti (2010-01-25)

Haiti Outreach (2010-01-22)

Haiti Outreach raises funds to send their water trucks to Port-Au-Prince and to bring fresh water to people.They are providing free shelter in their guest house and they will drill some wells in and around Port-Au-Prince. Donation: haiti@labelle.com

Spaghetti Dinner with the Kids (2007-08-24)

Each year Rotarians serve spaghetti dinners to the students, parents and staff at the open house night of area elementary schools. It's a great fun and all donations go back to the schools' education fund. Sep 28 was the final 2007 school dinner.

2007 Dictionary Project (2007-08-24)

Each year, the Rotarians personally hand out dictionaries to every 4th grade student in the LaBelle area. It's always a joy to witness the excitement of the students when the books are passed out in their classes. Yummy Abueluf, project chair.

Speakers Bureau (2007-08-22)

The LaBelle club invites you to apply to be a speaker at our lunch meeting. Presentations should be no more than 20 minutes to allow for Q&A.

Rotary Scholarships (2007-08-22)

The LaBelle Rotary scholarship program helps students who complete their two-year Edison College degree go on to complete a 4-year bachelors degree. Current recipients are Matthew Conely at FAU, DoriAnn Dyess at FGCU, and Brainna Gutierrez at FSU.

2008 Armadillo Races (2007-08-24)

The World Famous LaBelle Rotary Armadillo Races are held the last full weekend of February as part of Swamp Cabbage Festival. The only thing more fun than racing armadillos is catching them in the wild. Plan to join in.
